Vintage Garment Care Guide
Each vintage piece carries its own story. With a little care, you’ll keep adding to it.
For Consumers
- Air Out: Hang in fresh air to keep garments renewed.
- Steam, Don’t Press: Steaming relaxes wrinkles without flattening fabric.
- Spot Clean: Test a mild solution on a hidden area before treating marks.
- Wash Less: Cold wash sparingly in a mesh bag, or use a trusted cleaner.
- Store Well: Padded hangers for tops, fold knits, use breathable cotton bags.
- Leather: Wipe with a damp cloth, condition occasionally, store away from heat and sun.
How We Prepare Your Garments
Every piece is refreshed before it reaches you:
- Basic Repair: Threads and small damages are mended; repairs are always noted in the description.
- Steaming: Freshens and smooths without chemicals.
- Spot Cleaning: Gentle care for small marks.
- Fabric Brushing: Lifts lint and dust. Please no sticky rollers (it just adds more glue to your garment).
- Air Drying: Naturally refreshed and breathable.
- Leather Care: Wiped and conditioned lightly to preserve patina.
